The Ghost (Elle Flannery) gets her bloody revenge.
A cautionary tale of ghostly revenge, My Eternity is the debut video from the album Reminder for metal/rock band Chrysalis.
Four teens, with the help of a Medium, embark on a seance to conjure the spirit of someone they once wronged. They’ll soon wish they hadn’t as the spirit gets her bloody revenge.
Filmed on the same set as Creatures of Whitechapel and around Utah, the video sets up the story with four teens uncomfortably exploring a Medium’s home. As the story evolves, it is revealed that they are trying to rid themselves of the guilt they feel for picking on, and ultimately killing, a girl they had tag along with them. However, as they are about to rid themselves of the guilt, they break contact with the Medium, giving rise to the vengeful ghost of their victim, who wastes no time in slaughtering her enemies.
Using classic horror storytelling techniques, the video is a colorful and bloody spectacle of practical SFX and archetypal characters that brings high production values to a modestly small budget.
Wronged by spiteful “friends,” Elle will seek her bloody revenge through a Medium’s gateway at an ill-sought seance.
Dazzling on screen and off, Sandi’s fear breaks the seance and allows the vengeful spirit in.
With rock idol looks, Nick’s failure to keep his girlfriend’s emotions in line helps spell doom for him and his friends.
Driven by jealousy, Lizzie takes a dangerous game to the next level, killing her rival and setting up all her friends for a deadly revenge.
The Jock, Parker, fails to see the true nature of his vicious girlfriend Lizzie, binding all his friends together in their malicious deed.
The mysterious Medium whom the teens seek out to make amends for their vicious crime.
